My top 6 Nude lip products
So although we're getting into Autumn now and soon enough it will be Winter, I feel as though a good nude lipstick is essential all year round. So I thought I would share my top 6 nude lip-products with you. Some people might not class all of these as nude as some are on the pinkier side but not of them are extremely bold.
In no particular order as I love them all:
1. Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Lip Colour in Rose & Shine
Since these came out a few months back, they have quickly became one of my favourite lip products but this shade is definitely my go-to. It dries perfectly matte without leaving your lips dry and it also lasts all day even after eating and drinking (which is always a bonus!)
2. Barry M Matte Me Up Matte Liquid Lip Paint in Runway (With matching lipliner)
I love this as it leaves a beautiful matte finish and has great pigmentation. Like the Rimmel one, it doesn't leave your lips feeling dry even when worn for long periods of time. As the formula is thin it sits comfortably on your lips but it still has a full opaque colour. The matching pencil liner glides on easily and doesn't drag at your lip like some do.
3. MAC Velvet Teddy
This is obviously one of the most popular and best selling MAC lipsticks and is a cult favourite in the beauty world. This lipstick has a lovely matte finish and is very opaque, it also stays on for several hours. This lipstick goes really well with any makeup look; can be used for a smokey eye look when you don't want something as bold on your lips, or you can use it with a more casual look as well.
4. Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid Lipstick in Nude Flush
This lipstick is lightweight and silky when applied and is very comfortable to wear throughout the day. Its very easy to apply and lasts well although does need a touch up after eating and drinking. It's also not 100% matte but it does dry a lovely colour.
5. Clinique pop lip colour in Nude Pop
This lipstick goes on so nicely and feels lovely on your lips. They have a very creamy and smooth formula and are also quite moisturising. The colour is stunning and has a glossy finish but they still stay on really well.
6. L'oreal Colour Riche Lipstick in shade 266 Rose Saphir
This lipstick doesn't last as long as the previous ones so needs to be reapplied quite often but it has a lovely colour when applied. It has a glossy finish with a very slight shimmer. It also feels quite moisturising on the lips.
